Matthew Word is a native of Miami, Florida and a graduate of Full Sail University. His love for music was birthed as a young child. He remembers beating on his mother’s pots and pans after listening to all most any kind of music he could get his hands on. As a teen, he began to develop an ear for good music from listening to artists such as: Michael Jackson, Kirk Franklin, CeCe Winans, Stevie Wonder, Nat King Cole, Bob Marley, Lauryn Hill, Creed, and U2. It wasn’t long before he was making music of his own. As he began to develop into a songwriter/producer over the years, he incorporated his own company “Mo Word Productions” in 2010. This company would be a platform where he could display his talents and bring a new sound to the music industry. Suddenly, he found his music receiving licensing opportunities. He began to license Mo Word Production’s  songs with various publishing companies which led to music placements on hit shows like “Keeping up with the Kardashians”, “The Bad Girls Club”, “Best Ink”, and the “NFL Network”, “ESPN”, and so many more. His music production “Christmas Get Down” has been getting worldwide and international play. Whether it’s in TV& Film, gaming, working with labels, corporate businesses, non-profit organizations,  schools, or artist, as a professional, Matthew Word and his team strive for the spirit of excellence. He believes in putting your best foot forward and helping others achieve their goals. By doing so, we obtain the favor needed to achieve our goals in life.
